School Tours

 Your school can schedule a tour during apple and pumpkin season!

     The children first tour the packing and cider sheds. They then board the "People Wagon" for a tractor ride around the orchard where they pick a bag of apples and their pumpkin.
     On their return to the sales barn they have refreshments.  Be sure to leave room on the bus for all those pumpkins and apples!!

The Cider Shed

     Don't forget to sample our sweet cider when you return from the orchard!  Our Apple, Cherry and Raspberry Cider is made right here on the farm. Visitors are welcome to view the cider making operation, free samples too!

Bus Tours

     Many of the  Tour Bus companies offer tours of the Loess Hills during the fall season.  Few scenes compare with the Loess Hills in the fall.
         Our hills were formed over 12,000 years ago by wind born particles of silt lifted from glacial rubble left after the last icy monolith departed northward. It is rare in that it is found at great depths in only two places in the world: Harrison County, Iowa and in central China.
     Check with your local tour bus company for Loess Hill Tours.  The hills are at their best in the Spring and Fall!!
