Pie Parlor

We opened our Pie Parlor in the fall of 1996.  Not a large room, but we are able to seat a 50 passenger bus load of people.
Our main feature of course are Joyce's Homemade Pies, Apple, Cherry and Peach!  We do however serve Deli Sandwiches, coffee, tea and our fresh made Cherry and Apple Cider.  Have you visited the
Cider Shed?
The Pie Parlor opens full time in August ~ 8am ~ 6pm and close around the end of October, depending on the weather!
Our Orchard is one of the stops on the Loess Hills Tours, and the highlight of the afternoon break, for Pie and Ice Cream.  In the fall, on Saturday and Sunday, the Pie Parlor is usually full, but if you shop a while you will soon get a table.
To book a bus tour for the Pie Parlor call (712) 646-2723.  The Pie Parlor is available for groups during the winter by reservation, you don't even have to make the desert, Joyce has frozen pies you can order!!

Joyce's Homemade Pies

A few years back Joyce started making pies at night for people who placed orders.  Soon the demand grew and she was making and freezing over a thousand pies a year by herself.
The demand now exceeds what she can make by herself, so with the help of a few able assistants they make around 5,000 ~ 10 inch pies a year.  All pies are made from Joyce's recipe and to her requirements.
Apple and Cherry pies are available all year.  In season we offer Peach, Strawberry~Rhubarb, Pumpkin, Rhubarb,  Pecan and Raspberry.  Apple and Cherry are available frozen, why not take one home for dinner tonight??
